Recognizing the importance music has in the liturgical life of the congregation and recognizing that the pipe organ is the best instrument to lead congregational singing, Zion purchased a 20-year-old used/refurbished Reuter organ in 2005 from a church in Texas. This Pipe Organ was originally built in 1985 by Reuter Organ Co. In 2007 it was enhanced and relocated to Zion Lutheran Church, Grant Park, Illinois.
